What deserves a place in your review plan?
Names, voice, and context need different checks. Record enough source context to make each decision intelligible later.

A title can be right while the voice feels wrong
The source and two English renderings below were written for this guide. They illustrate an editorial choice, not an accuracy comparison or a Seka benchmark.

Mira remained silent. “At dawn.”“Captain, are we really going back?” Leo asked.
Mira said nothing. “At dawn.”- Both keep Leo, Mira, and the title Captain stable. That alone does not settle the voice.
- “Truly … return” sounds more formal than “really … going back.” Choose according to the surrounding scene.
- The short “At dawn” keeps the reply terse in both versions. Check whether later dialogue preserves that characterization.
Use a glossary for stable names and terms. Use passage review to judge voice, because a consistent label cannot decide a character’s tone.

Can I translate a light novel or web novel?
Light novel and web novel describe the work, not a separate upload format. Prepare a file you are allowed to translate, check that its type is currently enabled in the upload control, and keep it at or below 50 MB.
How do I keep character names consistent in a novel?
Make a short list of character names, titles, places, and invented terms, then add your chosen target wording to a glossary before submission. Check the same terms in early and later chapters; glossary settings still need review in context.
How long does a novel translation take?
Timing depends on the length of the text, the selected options, and current service workload. The task flow shows progress and indicates when the reading view is ready.
Can I translate a novel I did not write?
Only translate material you are allowed to use. You are responsible for copyright, permission, privacy, and distribution obligations for the source and the translated work.
